Finland

Hotel social media agency in Finland.

We are a Finnish hotel social media agency, and four of the five properties we film for are in northern Finland: Aurora Village in Ivalo, Levin Iglut in Levi, Skyview Igloos near Rovaniemi and Lumo Resort in Ruka-Kuusamo. Julius is Finnish, and we travel to the property ourselves for every shoot.

The problem

Most agencies selling Finnish Lapland have never been here in winter.

The guests who fill a hotel in Lapland are in Germany, Britain, France and Asia, and they decide from video months before they look at a price. The agencies competing for them are usually in London or New York, working from a brief and a stock library.

We work from Finland and drive north for every shoot. The footage shows the property as it actually is, including the few hours of blue light in December that are hard to photograph and are one of the reasons people come.

Proof

Published on the hotels' own accounts, with no paid promotion. The figures under each post come live from its insights.

What you get

What working with a Finnish agency means in practice.

A Finnish company and a Finnish invoice
Visualsofjulius Oy, with a Y-tunnus and Finnish VAT. Invoices in euros, and the details are on our company page.
Finnish or English with you, English in the posts
Julius is Finnish, so we can work in either. The posts go out in English, because that is who books Lapland from abroad.
Filming trips timed to the season
Three to five days at the property, planned around the polar night, the first snow or the light returning in March.
Reels, TikToks and Facebook posts, published for you
We edit for all three platforms, write the captions and publish on your accounts. The accounts stay yours.
Turning comments into direct bookings
A reply system in your hotel's voice answers the common questions day and night, with every link pointing at your own booking page.
A report every month
Views, saves, shares and followers, each with a line saying what it counts, plus what worked and what is planned next.

The hotels

The Finnish hotels we film for.

Four properties in northern Finland. Each case study has the full story and every number behind it.

What it costs

One monthly fee, and the trips quoted separately.

A content trip
3,500 to 4,000 €
per trip, plus travel and stay
The monthly partnership
around 3,500 €
per month, from 12 months

Spread across the year, most partners land between 3,700 and 4,300 € a month.

Some partners are on a growth model instead: a lower monthly fee plus a share of every booking we can trace to the channel.

Built for hotels with a nightly rate above about 250 € and something worth filming.

Questions

Questions Finnish hotels ask.

The practical ones first.

Who invoices us?

Visualsofjulius Oy, a Finnish company with a Y-tunnus and Finnish VAT. Invoices are in euros, and the full details are on our company page.

Do you post in Finnish?

We work with you in Finnish, but the posts are published in English, because most guests booking Lapland from abroad are in Germany, Britain, France and Asia. If your hotel also sells to Finnish guests, we plan content for both.

Which parts of Finland do you work in?

Mainly Lapland and Koillismaa, and so far that has meant Ivalo, Levi, Rovaniemi and Ruka-Kuusamo. We will travel elsewhere in Finland for the right property.

Are you already working with a hotel near us?

Possibly, as four of our five partners are in northern Finland. We do not take on two hotels competing for the same guest, so if there is an overlap we will say so in our first reply.

Can we start with a single filming trip?

A one-off trip makes sense for a new property that needs content before it opens. Otherwise the trip is the start of the monthly work rather than a trial, because one set of posts does not build an audience. We would rather say that now than take the booking and disappoint you.
