Glass igloo resorts

Social media for glass igloo resorts.

Four of the five hotels we film for are glass igloo resorts and glass cabins: Aurora Village in Ivalo, Levin Iglut in Levi, Skyview Igloos near Rovaniemi and Lumo Resort in Ruka-Kuusamo. We travel to the property, film for several days, and then publish and run the channel from there.

60,000 €+in bookings, one hotel, one monthGross booking value at Lumo Resort in the first month after we started posting again, 15 August to 18 September 2026, and a little over the figure shown. The resort asks every guest who books where they found them, so these bookings were counted one by one, not estimated.

The problem

Guests compare glass igloo resorts on Instagram long before they compare prices.

Somebody planning a winter trip compares ten or fifteen glass igloo resorts on Instagram before they open a booking page. Nearly all of them post the same three photographs: the igloo from outside, the bed under the glass roof, and the northern lights.

Video is what separates them now. It shows what a stay is actually like, and it is what people save, send on, and come back to when they are ready to book. That is what we film and publish for you every month.

Proof

Reels we filmed at these resorts, with their real numbers.

Published on the hotels' own Instagram and TikTok accounts, with no paid promotion. The figures under each post come live from its insights.

What you get

What is included in a glass igloo partnership.

Filming on location at your resort
Three to five days on site, planned around the season and the forecast rather than a date fixed months ahead.
Filming at night and under the aurora
A lit room under a dark sky is the hardest shot at a glass igloo resort, and the one guests want to see. We film and grade it so it still looks right after Instagram compresses it.
Reels, TikToks and Facebook posts, published for you
We edit for all three platforms, write the captions and publish on your accounts. You approve the plan for the season, not every post.
Captions and hooks written for search
Guests search inside Instagram and TikTok for glass igloo, northern lights, aurora hotel Lapland. Those words go in the first line, so posts keep reaching people for months.
Turning comments into direct bookings
The same questions arrive every week, at every hour: are the lights guaranteed, is there a bathroom, what if it is cloudy. A reply system in your voice answers them and sends people to your own booking page.
A report every month
Views, saves, shares and followers, each with a line saying what it counts, plus what worked and what we film next.

The hotels

The glass igloo resorts we film for.

Four of them, from Ivalo to Ruka. Each case study has the full story and every number behind it.

What it costs

One monthly fee, and the trips quoted separately.

A content trip
3,500 to 4,000 €
per trip, plus travel and stay
The monthly partnership
around 3,500 €
per month, from 12 months

Spread across the year, most partners land between 3,700 and 4,300 € a month.

Some partners are on a growth model instead: a lower monthly fee plus a share of every booking we can trace to the channel.

Built for hotels with a nightly rate above about 250 € and something worth filming.

Questions

Questions glass igloo resorts ask.

The five that come up on almost every first call.

What happens if there are no northern lights while you are filming?

Trips are planned around a season rather than a single clear night, and the aurora is a small part of what we shoot. Most of the footage is the resort itself: the rooms, the snow, the sauna, the restaurant, the drive in and the morning. When we do get a good aurora night, that material goes into the bank and we publish it when it is useful.

We already have professional photos of the igloos. Why do we need video?

Photography and video do different jobs. Your photos have to show a room accurately on a booking page, and they do that well. A reel has to stop somebody who was not looking for your hotel, hold them for a few seconds and be worth sending to a friend. That is a different brief, and it is not the one your photographer was given.

Our igloos sell out every winter anyway. What would this change?

Two things: the months on either side of the season, and how people book. Levin Iglut had been selling glass igloos since 2007 and filled every winter before we started. An audience that already knows the resort books direct rather than through a third party, books earlier in the year, and is more likely to come back.

Do you film guests?

Only people who have agreed to it. That is usually the two of us, sometimes your staff, and sometimes a guest who was asked first and said yes. We do not film anybody who has not agreed.

Do you need an igloo for the nights you are filming?

Yes. The footage that performs best is filmed from inside a room at night, so we need one we can work in. We agree which nights and which unit before the trip, and we are glad to take rooms you were not going to sell.
